Ethernet test platform spans 10G to 800G

AresONE-M 800GE from Keysight performs Layer 1 through Layer 3 Ethernet testing at data center interconnect speeds from 10G to 800G. The test platform validates network equipment interoperability and bandwidth performance, supporting the transition to 400GE and 800GE networks. It also has the capability to test slower, legacy Ethernet speeds.

The AresONE-M 800GE offers up to 8 ports in a single 2U rack-mount chassis: 1x800G, 2x400G, 4x200G, and 8x100G. PAM4 and NRZ signaling support delivers 106.25-Gbps host electrical lane signaling with the ability to downshift to the electrical lane speeds of 53 Gbps and 25 Gbps for 400GE and 100GE speeds. AresONE-M 800GE also supports all required forward error correction types and an array of link tuning, stability, reliability, and performance measurement statistics.

An integrated physical layer DSP from Credo Technology enables fast data transfer with low latency to meet the requirements of hyperscalers, enterprises, 5G carriers, and service providers. The chip optimizes power consumption to reduce operational costs, minimize heat dissipation, and conform to energy-efficient standards for advanced networks.
